Delicious Chocolate Tahini

Bliss Bites

A Nourishing Treat For the First Days of Your Cycle

The first days of your cycle call for slowing down, replenishing, and nurturing your body as it renews itself.

This is a time when iron stores may dip, energy can feel tender, and cravings often call for something chocolatey, grounding, and deeply satisfying.

These Chocolate Tahini Bliss Bites are rich in magnesium, iron, and healthy fats - nutrients your body leans on during menstruation.

They’re also seed-cycling friendly, bringing in flax seeds and pumpkin seeds to support the follicular phase.

Think of them as tiny bites of hormone harmony, a treat that feels indulgent yet purposeful.

And of course feel free to add your own twist, perhaps some dark chocolate coconut or edible flowers, to suit your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup tahini (sesame paste, creamy and grounding)

  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder (magnesium-rich comfort)

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds (supports healthy estrogen balance)

  • 2 tbsp ground pumpkin seeds (rich in zinc for ovulation prep)

  • 2–3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (natural sweetness)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Optional: a handful of dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the tahini, cacao, flax, pumpkin seeds, vanilla, and salt.

  2. Add honey or maple syrup a little at a time until the mixture holds together and tastes just sweet enough.

  3. Roll into small balls (about a tablespoon each) and place on a plate or tray.

  4. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes until firm.

  5. Enjoy one or two when you’re craving something sweet, grounding, and nourishing.

Why They Help

  • Tahini & cacao: calm the nervous system and ease menstrual tension.

  • Flax & pumpkin seeds: the seed cycling duo for your follicular phase, helping to support estrogen balance and prepare your body for ovulation.

  • Natural sweetness: satisfies chocolate cravings without the crash.

These little bites are perfect for those first days of your cycle and a reminder that even treats can be deeply nourishing when chosen with care.
